What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on the user’s terminal (computer, smartphone, tablet or any other tool used to access the Internet) by websites that the user visits. These text files can be read by these websites and help to identify you when you return to a website.
While browsing, the user may also receive cookies from different websites (so-called “third-party” cookies) on his/her terminal, set directly by the managers of the aforesaid websites and used for the purposes and in the manner they have defined.
Cookies can be “persistent” or “session” cookies. Persistent cookies remain on the user’s terminal when he/she has gone offline, while session cookies are deleted as soon as the user closes the web browser.
